Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL) welcomes applications for a full-time faculty position to join its NCI-designated Cancer Center in the area of Cancer Biology. The ideal candidate will be a laboratory-based scientist who applies innovative ideas and diverse methodologies to conduct basic and/or translational cancer research in a highly collaborative and interdisciplinary environment. CSHL welcomes applications from candidates at all career stages, and of all races, ethnicities, abilities, and identities.
Candidates from any area of Cancer Biology, including but are not limited to, immunology, tumor microenvironment, metastasis, cancer genetics/genomics, whole-body pathophysiology, and the molecular basis for cancer, are invited to apply. The successful applicant will hold a doctoral degree (Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent) in biology, medicine, or a related field. Research should emphasize mechanistic studies with relevance to one or more cancer types. Competitive applications should describe a clear vision for developing a multidisciplinary and collaborative research program capable of making cancer-related discoveries.
Located on the North Shore of Long Island in New York, CSHL is a world-renowned research and educational institution with cancer, neuroscience, plant biology, genomics, and quantitative biology programs.
