On Friday, June 9, the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL) Helix Society held its annual lunch at the Robertson House on the grounds of CSHL’s Banbury Conference Center. The CSHL Helix Society honors generous friends who support CSHL’s research, science education programs, and endowment in their estate plans. This lunch is a much-loved tradition that Helix Society members look forward to, and this year was no exception.

With a fascinating presentation entitled “Finding New Ways to Impact Breast Cancer Progression,” delivered by David L. Spector, Ph.D., Professor and Director of Research at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, this year’s talk was a powerful illustration of the vital research happening at CSHL.
